Assist clients with a variety of questions about their child support case by phone, mail and in person Be able to read and comprehend legal documents Answer phone calls Handle questions and tasks that arise Document all conversations had with clients, caseworkers, attorneys, etc.
in the computer and on log sheets Work diligently to locate the non-custodial and custodial parents Locate non-custodial parent employers and process income withholdings Assist with mail distribution and be responsible for your own case load mailings Assist clients in signing petitions and explain what the document states Responsible for processing your own case notifications according to the State guidelines Meeting deadlines Knowledge of what the case notification is wanting and how to obtain the information that is needed Prepare and send interstate documents Organization of case load and work lists Learning ever-changing procedures
Qualifications:
Be able to exercise confidentiality in the highest degree Knowledge of computers Basic knowledge of Child Support Expertise to defuse various situations through verbal communication and reasoning Multi-tasking effectively and efficiently Job Type:
